Solana Beach, California

Six minutes down the coast road.

Of every town in North County, Solana Beach is the closest to the consultation office.

The office is at 1349 Camino Del Mar, about six minutes south along the coast road from Solana Beach. That is the shortest drive of any town the practice serves — closer than Encinitas, and well under half the time from Carlsbad Village.

It matters more than it sounds, because the consultation is not the only appointment. Sizing, pre-operative visits and every follow-up happen at the same office. Over the course of a breast augmentation you will make that drive several times.

The one appointment that isn't in Del Mar

Surgery itself is at an outpatient surgery center on Paseo Del Norte in Carlsbad, further north — roughly the distance to Carlsbad Village. It is a single day, and you go home the same day.

So the pattern for a Solana Beach patient is: a short drive south, repeatedly, and one longer drive north.

You cannot drive yourself home. After general anesthesia an adult over eighteen needs to bring you back and stay with you for at least twenty-four hours. Arrange it before the day — it is the most common reason a procedure gets postponed.

What gets decided, and where

At the consultation: measurements first — base width across the chest, the tissue you have, where the fold beneath the breast sits, and any asymmetry between the two sides. Then sizers, so you are deciding from something you can see rather than a number.

The clinical detail — implant type and profile, placement relative to the muscle, incision location, recovery week by week and the actual risks — is all on the main breast augmentation page.
